Voice Over the Internet Protocol Technology

VoIP services convert your voice into a digital signal that travels over the Internet. If you are calling a regular phone number, the signal is converted to a regular telephone signal before it reaches the destination. VoIP can allow you to make a call directly from a computer, a special VoIP phone, or a traditional phone connected to a special adapter. In addition, wireless "hot spots" in locations such as airports, parks, and cafes allow you to connect to the Internet and may enable you to use VoIP service wirelessly.

Firebird History

The Pontiac Firebird was built by the Pontiac division of General Motors between 1967 and 2002. The Firebird was introduced the same year as the automaker's platform-sharing model, the Chevrolet Camaro.

The vehicles were powered by various four-cylinder, six-cylinder, and V8 engines sourced from several GM divisions. While primarily Pontiac-powered until 1977, Firebirds were built with several different engines from nearly every GM division until 1982 when GM began to discontinue engines it felt were unneeded and either spread successful designs from individual divisions among all divisions or use new engines of corporate architecture.

The 1979 Trans-Am was one the Second Generation Firebirds that were built between 1970 and 1981 with the following features:

ÿAll new body and chassis design with new front end and rear taillight design

ÿNew model lineup which consisted of a base Firebird, Esprit, Formula, and Trans Am

ÿNew interior design

ÿT-top glass roof option (first available in 1976)

ÿThe "phoenix" hood bird decal (optional on 1973-1981 Trans Am models)

ÿSpecial Edition Trans Am models(1977-1981) package consisted of black exterior w/gold hood bird and pin stripes

ÿPontiac 50th Anniversary Special Edition Trans Am available in 1976

ÿ1979 10th Anniversary Special Edition Trans Am; package consisted of silver exterior

     w/charcoal hood bird decal and body striping, silver interior with embroidered seats

ÿ1980 Turbo Trans Am Indy Pace Car model
